Get Leg & Thigh Muscles Without Going To The GymQ: okay, i have small legs, so i am trying to build muscle. i know to use heavier weights and less reps every few days but i DO NOT want to burn the fat i have on my legs.  At the same time, i want to start running to burn my tummy fat. But as i said i dont want to lose leg fat.  How do I build muscle in my legs but burn fat in my stomach at the same time? oh, dieting is an option. whatever will help.

A:  What you are trying to do is impossible.  You can’t isolate fat burning like you can isolate exercising only certain muscles.  When the body loses fat, it loses it all over and only the body decides where.  Usually when we lose fat, the first place we notice it is in the belly region because pants will fit looser.  Here are some leg exercises that you can do.  By building your leg muscles, you will burn fat.  In fact, building muscle is the quickest way to lose fat, better than cardio.
