If you want to get big, you need to lift HEAVY with fewer reps. and eat a lot.
For example, say you life 225, do 5 sets at 5 reps with at least a minute between each set.
If you want to get lean, then you lift lighter, with more reps
For example, lift 175 and do 5 sets of 10 reps with 30 seconds between each set
To get more bulk, you also take more time between lifting days. It gives the muslce fibers more time to build
