Get Muscle Definition Without Going Gym
A Visitor Asks This Question:
Unfortunately i have to cancel my gym membership in 3 months time, and i’m in the process of trying to get more muscle definition. Has anyone achieved this without going to the gym and how.
I’m thinking of:
1: Going running outside to burn out excess fat to reveal definition
2: Doing crunches to reveal abs
3: Using dumbbells to for my arms?
4: Carry on eating healthly?

You don’t need to lift weights. Use resistance bands. The Bodylastics bands are highly configurable. With the T.O. Super Strong Man set, you’ll get up to 254 lbs of resistance.
If you’d like to know what to do with them, watch these free muscle building workouts. Blake from Bodylastics does a daily workout show. You’ll love it.
You can maintain some level of muscle without regular weight training, its just much less efficient. Cardio such as running will decrease your overall bodyfat, so you might see whatever muscle you have already accrued. There are other bodyweight exercises you can do: pushups (you can vary the width of your hand placement and raise your body angle to selectively target the pecs, delts, or tris). You can do various crunches, leg raises, twists for your abs and obliques. Squats will hit the glutes and hamstrings. Calf raises on some steps are also good. It gets tougher when you need to do pulling exercises. If you have access to a high bar you can do chins and pullups to hit the lats and bis. If the bar is medium height you can vary the angle to get some mid traps also. Eating well is also quite important.
yes and no. I tried the non gym way. I got extra toned. Thats a good thing to reveal your muscle definition. The problem is that if you don’t use very heavy weights, you won’t gain the large muscle. That’s not exactly true though. It’s true for my chest (pectoral) muscles. If I didn’t bench, I got no gain. but when I did 100x 5lbs curls 3 times a week, my biceps got huge. It burned every time I did that too… so it’s hard work. Obviously, my muscle groups are different, and yours are prolly different from mine too. so the answer is yes and no.
someone mentioned P90X. that’s crazy. I highly recommend. I couldnt keep up with it. I didnt have the endurance. I will one day though!
