Do wide push ups work? What other exercises can you do to strengthen all of the back muscles?

    Push ups only upper chest and inside arm. Pull ups help upper back if you pull up in front of the bar. Then try deadlifting heavy things around the house but not so much you blow a disk or pull your back.. Every home has things around it to be used as weights.. I used to use my chairs and coffee table to bench press back in the poor days. Improvise!
