Home Gym Equipment For The Fat Burning Furnace

Before I begin, I want to tell you that I actually bought a copy of the Fat Burning Furnace (FBF) so this isn’t some sales pitch to get you to buy it when I don’t even own it myself. Besides, if you’re reading this, I’ll assume you already have it.

My copy of the Fat Burning FurnaceYou see? Here’s my copy. I buy a lot of e-books covering a wide range of topics. I don’t like reading them on the computer so I invested in a comb binding machine several years ago and I print them out on my duplex color printer. They’re more likely to get read when I have a hard copy of them. Besides, I can’t put sticky notes on the pages of a .pdf file on computer screen.

I had it sitting on my desk for about a month before I got a chance to read it…translation, there was nothing good was on TV that night.

By the time I got through the first 23 pages, I knew this wasn’t going to be another lame lose weight fast with colon cleansing or some tropical jungle juice scheme. Rob knows what he’s talking about.

So I got to page 31 where he discusses a certain type of exercise that I was already very familiar with. He also followed it up with one word that made my heart sink because I figured I’d be workout my butt off. That word was intensity. I didn’t like where this was going.

  • I HATE exercising.
  • I HATE doing sets of reps.
  • I HATE getting sweaty and hot.
  • I HATE that it takes up so much time.

But on page 32 he explains a little secret about getting all the benefits of this type of exercise without having to do all those things I hated and best of all, I only had to do it a few times a week. That’s my kind of exercise – the less, the better.

I’ll give you a hint. It’s NOT about getting hot and sweaty and working out like flesh eating zombies are after you. Rob’s method for successful fat loss is pure genius – less is more. I like the way this guy thinks.

So let’s fast forward to page 75 where Rob describes the home gym equipment you’ll need to perform the exercises on pages 50-71. He says you can get all of the equipment for under $2,000. Ugh! Another stab to the heart.

As I read that I couldn’t help but wonder how many people stopped dead in their tracks at that moment, put the FBF down and said, “There is no way I can afford that, much less have the room for it.”  If you had the same sticker shock I did, keep reading.  I found a way to get it all for under $100.

BUT DON’T BUY ANY OF IT!

Like Rob said, you can expect to pay at least $2,000 for all if it. Instead, all you need is a set of Bodylastics resistance bands like the set shown below. It’s a complete home gym system and sets start at under $30. I recommend the Super Strong Man set. It’s got up to 202 pounds of tension. There’s also a Mega Pack with double the tubes, handles, door anchors and ankle straps for a total of 300 pounds of tension. It’s an excellent option if you have a workout partner.

So how can such a small investment give you the same workout options as $2,000 worth of bulky gym equipment?  The secret’s in the attachments.  They enable you to do all of the same workouts as those expensive machines – curls, raises, pulldowns, pushdowns, squats and more. Plus, they fit in a gym bag, not a whole room in your house!  Plus, you get access to totally FREE online workouts.
