How can I build upper body strength without going to the gym?

A Visitor Asks This Question:

Assuming I’m already running a regular cardio routine, what type of workouts can I use for toning and adding mass to my bicep, triceps, and pectoral muscles? Specific styles of push-ups? Specific swimming strokes? etc. Thanks!

Click here for free workouts from Bodylastics using resistance bands (like the ones shown below). Create a free account and then watch all the workout shows you want. They’re in the menu under Our Shows. The one I suggest for building muscle is called Chiseled. There’s a live streaming show Mon-Fri. You can also scroll through the archives to see all the previously recorded ones.

Spend $25 on a subscription to Men’s Health Magazine. There are tons of workout routines for doing this sort of thing from home without spending money on a monthly gym membership. I would recommend crunches, sit-ups, and push-ups, then work into different exercises from there.
