What @Anthony said is true. I quit eating badly and started walking 1-2 miles a day and lost 30 lbs in about 4 months. I even snore less now!
Aside from a healthy diet, the quickest way to lose weight is to build muscle because muscle will use the sotre fat for fuel. And you don’t need to go to the gym. Get a set of Bodylastics resistance bands like the ones shown above and come join us for free workouts <- here. There are tons of high quality workouts, not homemade YouTube vids. In fact, there’s about a year’s worth now because the live exercise shows were started at the end of Nov 2009.
Sure you can. It’s just most people gain it back if they lose their weight by diet alone. However, I believe they gain it back because their diets typically suck. If they dieted CORRECTLY, and continued to use the same principles (not the same diet), they would NOT gain it back.
Losing fat and keeping it off takes 3 things (for the non obese):
1) A properly designed diet (this is 80% of it). Key words are "properly designed".
2) Lifting weights (this is 10-15% of it)
3) Cardio (this is 5-10% of it)
As you can see, diet is very very important for fat loss. We can never out exercise a bad diet. Well, unless we have 4-5 hours per day to exercise. I know I don’t.
So if you DO NOT want to work out, get your diet designed correctly. But that’s not an easy task for most people since 99% of the diets I see are horrible.
