I have a question

I’m an overweight 17/18 year old girl. i would like to lose about 75-100 pounds. I’ve been on diet on and off since September and I’m very unhappy w the way things are going. I was going to gym and trainer for the last 3 months, but just don’t have the money for it. Please tell me: What do i need if I’m going to do it on my own?…weights and anything like that, feel free to give as much help as possible thanks!!!

    First, let’s start with what you’re eating. Avoid sugar, including diet drinks (they are full of chemicals and do bad things to your body). You’ll want to drink around 8 cups of water a day. It flushes away toxins, not to mention, your body is made up of about 70% water so it needs water. Try to eat 50-100g of good carbs a day. This will keep you above ketosis, but in the range of losing 1-2lbs a week, excluding exercising. Eat lean meats (NOT lean lunch meat – it’s full of sodium and bad chemicals), nuts, fruits, and vegetables. Basically, if it comes in a package from a factory, stay away from it. Spread your eating out to about 6 times a day.

    If you are able to get out and walk, do that. 1-2 miles a day is good. You can splite it up to a mile in the morning and another later on in the day. Take a bottle of water with you. I look forward to walking outside. It’s relaxing, I get to see the changing of the seasons, what all the neighbors are doing to their yards, hear the birds sing and listen to the rustling of leaves or palm tree fronds on the wind. It’s zen.
