Losing weight with Ab circle pro and Diet pills?

Question:
So, I am on Metformin and phenteramin (I started them yesterday) Along with eating a couple pieces of sliced fruit ever 3 hours aside from well balanced meals. I also bought an Ab circle pro that I worked on for 2 hours this morning (believe me IT WORKS) or I am just really out of shape. I also plan on doing an hour of free walk when I walk my dogs and some more Ab Circle later. I weighed this morning when I woke up and I weighed 210. I weighed a few minutes ago and I weighed 200. Do you think that this will stay away or do you think it is just like water weight or something like that? I really want to lose some weight. I don’t look obese but I am a bit chubby, I know I am overweight but lucky enough for me I carry it rather well.

Anyways, I am very very proud of the scale today.

I am 5′ 5-6 ish
I weigh 200 (now)
I am looking to lose at least 50 more pounds

What do you suggest other than “diet and exercise”
Do you think it is possible to keep this 10 pounds off or is a trick?
How come I can’t get any decent answers?

Answer:

Isolation exercises like those from the Ab Circle Pro will not make you lose fat. And if you can do it for 2 hours, that tells me you’re getting no benefit from it.

What you want is high intensity resistance training for your entire body. You don’t need to go to the gym. You can workout at home. You should have spent your money on a set of Bodylastics resistance bands instead of that ab contraption.

Bodylastics bands are adjustable. Basically, what you want to do is about 10 reps with enough resistance so it’s really hard to complete the last rep. That’s called a set. Then you rest for a few seconds and do another set for a total of 3 sets. Then you move onto another muscle group. But you never work the same muscle group day after day. You can workout every day, just not the same muscles. You can do upper body one day and lower body the next. Or you can do the whole thing on one day and rest the next.

Here’s what’s going to happen. You’re going to start building muscle and that new muscle is going to literally melt the fat off your body. Yes, muscle has weight, but it has less volume that fat. So don’t use a scale to measure your progress. You want to take measurements.

Click here to check out Bodylastics resistance bands. They’ve got free workouts on their site. Sign up for them to see what they’re all about. I would start with some good general exercise. The workout show TX2 Teen Transformation is a good one to get you started.
