Painless Exercise For Bad Back and Arthritic Knees
I have already lost 55 pounds without exercise. But I need some exercise that doesn’t put me in pain for a week before I can exercise again. My back hurts when I run on me tread mill and my knees hurt severly after exercises. I havee a bad back and osteoarthritis in my knees. What are some good painless exercises?

You need to build muscle and the only way you’re going to do that is with resistance exercises and strength training. Sounds like you’ll benefit from low impact exercise. @kathy_is_a_nurse gave some good advice. I would also recommend getting some Bodylastics resistance bands. Physical therapy clinics use them because they rehab muscles and are low impact.
Bodylastics also has these free workouts, however they might be a little too intense for you. All Bodylastics bands come with a workout book so you can do the isolation exercises. But I still suggest you watch the online workouts to make sure you execute them correctly so you don’t risk further injury.
Water aerobics would be a good bet for you. You might find out if your local YMCA or even your local community hospital offers them…even better if they have water aerobics specifically for arthritics.
