Resistance Bands: Target Your Abs
Has anyone worked out with any type of resistance bands to target the abs. Does it really help?
I wanted to purchase the new thing called Kor flex and was wondering if resistance bands can really help in reducing fabby tummy.
Any kind of tips or input is really appreciated.

Korflex is great for resistance and strength training because it does compound exercises, that is, working out more than one muscle group at a time. But there are 2 glaring problems that I see right off the bat.
1) You CANNOT target fat loss. Yes, you will tighten your abs and all the other muscles it says it will, but you CANNOT spot reduce. Building muscle through resistance exercise and doing cardio will cause you to lose fat, but the body will lose it all over, not just on the abs.
2) The Korflex only has one resistance level. What are you going to do when your body adapts to that resistance and the workouts become too easy? You need progressive resistance. You need to be able to adjust that resistance.
