You can see the muscle groups here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscle Sounds like you want a total body workout. I suggest Bodylastics exercise tubes for several reasons. They are inexpensive, light-weight, you can get full range of motion from them and workout every part of your body. Weights and weight machines are none of the above.

most resistance training exercises hit more than one muscle at a time so you don’t have to worry about hitting every single one individually. but here’s the break down:

    shoulders:
    anterior deltoid
    posterior deltiod
    lateral deltoid
    upper trapezius
    arms:
    triceps
    biceps
    brachialis

    back:
    mid and lower trapezius
    rhomboids
    latissimus dorsi
    teres major
    erector spinae

    chest:
    pectoralis major and minor
(but anterior deltoid and triceps are also included here)

    abs:
    rectus abdominus
    external obliques
    internal obliques
    transverse abdominus

    from the hips down:
    quadriceps
    hamstrings
    gastrocnemius (calf muscles)
    gluteus medius
    gluteus maximus
    adductors
