Spot reducing fat parts of their body is impossible
My Mom does the same thing…she buys all of these stupid excercise machines or gizmos that work certain body parts and they never work. I think anyone that knows anything about fitness knows that your body picks where the fat will come off, and you have to combine resistance training with cardio and a good diet. Guys, your six pack won’t show up until your body fat gets down to 12 percent or lower.
So, why do people keep asking the same stupid questions?

Because they’re looking to solve a problem and the problem may be their belly, butt, thighs, etc. They want THAT particular problem to go away so to them it’s the logical question to ask, “How can I reduce my fat _____?” they ask with a slice of pizza in one hand and a Coke in the other. LOL
Because people have no general knowledge of fitness and nutrition, so they will believe anything they are told. People need to learn how to research and be more skeptical about things.
people are looking for a quick result. they see on tv that "this machine will do the trick!" and they buy into it. they dont see the fine print that says results not typical or used in an exercise regiment of 6 months. i believe that its a see/ hear what you want to situation. which, let’s face it, is exactly the target audience they are trying to get to, whether the machine really works or not. until you can get them to change the commercials, expect to be getting the same silly questions.

They probably don’t know… Alot of people who’re wanting to workout, usually start off thinking it’ll be easy, because alot of infomercials make them seem that way. They’ll show a pic of some huge lady then show her after pic and she has slimmed down and has abs of steel… They tell you to use their machine for 10min 3 days a week and POOF! You’ll have great abs!
They don’t include the fact that you MUST do some cardio because that’s pretty much the only way to shed fat.
