what are some good “at home exercises” I can do to get fit?

Question:
I have a nice stomach but its hidden under the belly and love handles.
I have been using the ab lounge I am starting to see two lines one on the left and right side of my stomach ,but I need to get rid of lower belly fatas well as the love handles.I would also like to tone upmy thighs

Answer:

That ab lounge is another one of those contraptions that’s useless.  Where’s the resistance on that thing?  All the ab lounging in the world is not going to get rid of those love handles and belly fat and neither will situps.  You CANNOT do isolation exercises to lose fat.  Working out your abs will NOT get rid of belly fat.

To effectively get rid of the fat, you have to build lean muscle.  The muscle will burn up that stored fat, but it will do it all over your body, not just the belly.  Also, stop doing just ab exercises.  You need total body workouts to burn fat.  The leg muscles are the largest muscles in the body.  When you include leg exercises in your workouts, fat burning will happen faster.
