Thicker Looking Neck With Arm Exercises
This may sound kind of dumb, but whenever I lift dumbbells I feel the lower muscles of my neck tensing along with my arms. However, I want those neck muscles to stay small. It’s like when you see bodybuilders, their necks are usually huge. So, what arm exercises don’t work the neck muscles?

Just because you’re using your arms to life dumbbells doesn’t mean you’re doing “arm exercises“. If you can feel your neck muscles tense while doing arm exercises, either you’ve got bad form or you’re not doing strictly “arm exercises“.
Isolated arm exercises mainly work the triceps and biceps. You may be doing compound movements that work the back and shoulder area.
