What are good exercises for leg strengthening and burning calories?
Q: I have started spending 4 hours a day exercising for figure skating. I go to a gym 3 times a week and and when days that i don’t go, i spend a hour on the glider and an 2 hours practicing my jumps off ice, and a half hour doing step workouts and a half hour stretching. I still feel like this isn’t enough. does anyone know any other exercises that i can do?
A: Some good exercises to strengthen your skater legs are squats and calve raises, but with resistance.
