Glad to hear you’re eating better, but it’s not all about calories, the food has to be nutritional, too. You can eat 2 Big Macs a day verses 5 and although it would be a reduction in calories, it’s severely lacking in nutrients. Eat fresh fruits, vegetables, lean protein and stay away from fatty and processed foods. If it’s gone through a factory or comes out of a box, chances are pretty good it’s bad for you.
Secondly, your goals are very realistic at two pounds a week.
If you can, I would suggest walking. Just by eating better and walking 1 mile in the morning and 1 in the afternoon around my hood, I was able to lose about 2 lbs a week.

you don’t need a gym. Get a chin-up bar and some 10-20 pounds dumbbells. Push-ups (different hand positions and different fee elevations, sit-ups, squat-jumps, jumping jacks, burpees, chin-ups, pull-ups, roman chair sit-up, upright row, bent-over row, military press, reverse butterfly’s, triceps extensions, dips, back-arches, and every other exercise you can think of.
