What’s up with the “I have no time to exercise” excuse?

Question:
There are 168 hours in a week. If you have time to eat and crap and sleep you surely have time to move a little and do a 30 to 60 minutes aerobic or weight training session.

And weight training is like every other day or up to every FIVE days if you’re older so you can rest and heal stronger. You have time to exercise but you’re lazy, it’s your fault, but if you work or study then you use the “I have no time to exercise” excuse and then you piss me off. Go back to the middle ages and move your butt all day long to go places.

You could have all the time to exercise, being unemployed, staying home all day long, with a gym membership and access to a gym and weight machines, aerobic machines and aquatic center, and a good stationary bike with the ability to do calisthenics and using small weights and a very nice and safe neighborhood to walk in, in the spring when the trees are blooming…and still NOT exercise at all.

Answer:

Your last paragraph isn’t about not having time to exercise if they have all that stuff.  It’s about not have the desire to use it. Time and desire are two different things.

Not everyone has all that stuff.  In that case people don’t know they have exercise options.  They think they need to go to the gym or own a bunch of equipment.  That is so not true.  They can stay at home and exercise, but in order for exercise to be effective, it has to be done correctly and with the right amount of resistance.

People also remember the last time they tried to exercise and it didn’t work for them.  Again, it has to do with the right kind of exercise.  Calisthenics and using small weights, as you put it, are pretty much useless for weight loss.

The fastest way to lose weight is with resistance training like these free resistance training workouts.
