Why am I gaining weight after exercising?

 

I’ve been keepin a pretty good exercising routine. I do like 45 to 50 min of cardio (like 5 days a week) and then like 10 to 15 min of strength and resistance training (2 to 3 days a week). After one week, weigh like about 3 lbs. more than a week ago…but i’m trying to LOSE weight…not gain weight. Could it be the resistance training? Because I do know that muscle weighs more than fat. My diet is well balanced. I have lost some inches since the beginning of my weight loss plan (like 3 months ago). But now i’ve stopped losing weight. What’s wrong? What can I do?

    its most likely muscle dont worry muscle is a good thing. And your not going to look like a guy even with weights since women dont have enough testosterone to get that bulky.

    When you’ve been exercising for a week, you won’t have lost much body fat. Wait 3-4 weeks before you expect to see results.

    Also, a reason you might be gaining weight after a week of exercising is saying to yourself "Oh, I worked out today so I can eat a little extra." You need to eat normally or less than usual if you want to lose weight in combination with working out.

    you have to switch up your routine or you won’t lose weight at all.

    it is probably increase in muscle mass or water retention. best way to measure is to measure your body by inches and body fat. i went from a size 8 to a 2 and never lost a pound.

    So long as u loose inches, u shud not bother about weighing machine.

    Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.
